“The Huawei Nova 4 is rumoured to be one of the first smartphones to have a selfie camera hole and will be a mid-range offering”
Ever since Samsung’s Annual Developer’s conference, the selfie camera hole display has been all the rage. Huawei is also in the race to launch a smartphone with selfie camera piercing and Nova 4 is the frontrunner from the brand for that. Huawei recently confirmed that the smartphone will be launched in China on December 17th. Ahead of the official launch, the Huawei Nova 4 has been spotted in a series of live hands-on images.
In the new images, we can see that the Huawei Nova 4 comes with an all display fascia with a very minimal chin. The selfie camera hole can be seen in the top left corner of the display. To accommodate the camera hole, the status bar elements on the Nova 4 have been aligned to the right side. We can also see a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which rules out the possibility of an under-display biometrics sensor. Speaking of the rear panel, the smartphone seems to be flaunting a gradient hue and triple camera module in the top left corner with AI camera branding. However, no details regarding the camera sensor et al are known at this moment.
Previous leaks have revealed that the Nova 4 will come with with an LCD display and 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM. We can also expect the smartphone to come with Huawei’s proprietary GPU Turbo technology for performance enhancements. As of now, no other details of the Huawei Nova 4 is known. However, we won’t have to wait for long as the launch date is just around the corner.
