“The Huawei Nova 5i Pro is a high-end offering with four rear cameras and a punch-hole display, the TENAA listing shows”
The Huawei Nova 5i Pro smartphone has allegedly been certified by the Chinese certification agency TENAA. The phone has been listed in the regulatory authority’s database under the model number SPN-AL00/TL00. The certification has revealed most of the specifications of the upcoming Huawei Nova 5i Pro. Unfortunately, the listing on the website doesn’t contain the photos of the smartphone at the moment, but they should be uploaded in the database very soon. The Huawei Nova 5i Pro was originally expected to be unveiled alongside the Nova 5i, which was announced in China last month alongside the Nova 5 and Nova 5 Pro.
According to the listing on TENAA, the Huawei Nova 5i Pro could come with a 6.26-inch IPS display bearing resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. The phone is said to be powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core processor of unknown make. The device will arrive in two RAM and two storage variants – 6GB / 8GB and 128GB / 256GB. Software-wise, the handset is tipped to boot Android 9 Pie with EMUI custom skin on top.
Furthermore, the certification has revealed that the Huawei Nova 5i Pro could come with a quad-camera setup at the rear. The phone is said to have a 48MP primary camera, aided by an 8MP snapper and two 2MP sensors. For selfies and video calling, the handset could come with a 32MP camera. Lastly, the certification suggests that the Nova 5i Pro will be fuelled by a beefy 3,900mAh battery.
Recently, an alleged schematic of the Huawei Nova 5i Pro was leaked online. The photo suggested that the phone will arrive with a punch-hole camera and a four-camera setup at the rear. The phone is tipped to have minimal bezels and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Unfortunately, no other details about the Nova 5i are available at the moment, including its launch date, pricing, and availability information.
