“Huawei Nova 5i Pro mid-range phone is tipped to come with 6.26-inch display, runs on Android 9.0 Pie, and packs 4,000mAh battery”
Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i and Nova 5 Pro smartphones were introduced in China back in June. However, the Chinese brand left out the Nova 5i Pro in the waiting. The TENAA certification of the handset revealed key specifications of the handset. Now, while we wait for the Nova 5i Pro launch, the complete specifications of the phone revealed in the promotional images, courtesy of Weibo. The Huawei Nova 5i Pro is expected to come with a 6.26-inch punch-hole curved design with 1,080 X 2,340 pixels resolution and has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
Furthermore, the Huawei Nova 5i Pro has a quad rear camera arranged in a square matrix, as seen on the Mate 20 Pro. The setup consists of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, a 2MP depth unit for portrait shots and another 2MP sensor could be a ToF sensor. On the front, the handset is said to feature a 32MP snapper inside the punch hole for selfies and video chats. The in-house Kirin 810 SoC could power the Huawei Nova 5i Pro. It could arrive in multiple variants — 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB onboard storage that could be further expandable. The base variant is tipped to be sold only through online stores.
The Huawei Nova 5i Pro is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top. The punch hole design is placed on the left top corner, and the phone is expected to come in at least three colour options. A 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support fuels the phone. Unfortunately, there’s no launch date yet, so we should know more details in the coming days.
