“The Huawei Nova 6 is expected to be a 5G handset with a punch-hole screen, dual selfie cameras, and quad rear cameras”
Huawei Nova 6 has been leaked yet again, ahead of its official release in December. Previously we had the press render of the upcoming mid-range offering from Huawei that revealed punch-hole display, dual selfie cameras, gradient finish, and quad-rear camera setup. Now, key specifications of the Huawei Nova 6 have surfaced online. The handset will reportedly have a slightly bigger form factor compared to its predecessor Huawei Nova 5 series. The Nova 6 is tipped to pack a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display instead of 6.39-inch, with 60Hz refresh rate, a small chin at the bottom and uniformly thick bezels.
The report further added that the Huawei Nova 6 will boast an astounding 60-megapixel primary sensor, which is up from 48-megapixel on its predecessor, at the back. This will allegedly be backed by a 16-megapixel secondary shooter, a couple of 2-megapixel sensors – probably for ultra-wide and macro shots. The punch-hole dual front cameras atop the display are expected to sport 32-megapixel + 12-megapixel sensors for selfie and video calling. The Huawei Nova 6 may pack a beefy 4,000mAh battery with an impressive 40W Magic Charge support, which was revealed by the alleged 3C certification as well.
As we already know, the handset is expected to be powered by Huawei’s flagship Kirin 990 mobile platform and support fifth-generation cellular connectivity. The phonemaker could ship the Nova 6 with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The phone will be available in at least two colour options: red and blue, with a gradient finish. Apart from this, the Huawei Nova 6 could come with a starting price of RMB 3,499 (~Rs 35,450) for the base variant, while the top-end variant may cost RMB 4,099 (~Rs 40,540).
The source isn’t 100 percent sure of the information yet. Therefore, we’d advise you to take these Huawei Nova 6 specifications with a pinch of salt, until further confirmation.
