Huawei Nova 7 SE key specifications tipped ahead of rumoured April launch

Huawei Nova 7 SE could be the upcoming Nova 7-series phone that’ll succeed the Nova 6-series that debuted back in December 2019. Noted tipster DigitalChatStation has revealed the phone’s display size, design, optics, fast-charging support and more on Weibo, citing supply chain sources, who can be inaccurate. The leaker also suggests the Nova 7 SE will ships with a mid-range Kirin 5G chip, presumably the unannounced Kirin 820 SoC that was in the news back in December where it was claimed to debut on either Honor 10X or the Nova 7.

The Huawei Nova 7 SE is said to flaunt a 6.5-inch display with a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie snapper. It is tipped to feature a 64MP primary sensor, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a 22.5W fast-charging support. The Kirin 820 SoC should have built-in 5G modem and might be announced very shortly. Unfortunately, we’re yet to learn about it’s RAM and storage options, battery capacity, Android version, among others. But with rumours suggesting the Nova 7-series would debut in April, we should come across more information going forward.

Huawei P40 Lite E specifications

Huawei P40 Lite E was recently announced in Poland. It flaunts a 6.39-inch HD+ display with 1,560×720 pixels resolution, a punch-hole design and 90 percent screen to body ratio. The phone ships with an in-house Kirin 710F SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 512GB. It boots Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 9.1 custom skin on top and Huawei Mobile Services. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

For photography, the Huawei P40 Lite E features triple cameras at the back with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-angle-lens, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies and video chats. A 4,000mAh battery with 5V 2A charging fuels the handset. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, and micro-USB port for charging and data sync. The Huawei P40 Lite E is priced at PLN 699 (around Rs 13,300) and comes in Aurora Blue and Black.
