“The Huawei P20 Lite 2019 is apparently an upcoming mid-range offering with the Kirin 710 SoC and a punch-hole display”
Huawei seems to be working on a new P series smartphone, which will allegedly arrive as the P20 Lite (2019). Ahead of the unveiling, the upcoming handset’s alleged press renders have been leaked on the interwebs. The leaked images have revealed the design of the handset from all angles. The source has also revealed a few features of the device, which suggest that it will be a big upgrade from the last year’s phone that carries the same name.
Talking about the design first, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) will arrive with a fresh new design featuring a hole in the display to house the selfie camera. The handset will feature minimal bezels on the sides and a slimmer-than-usual chin. At the rear, the smartphone will have three vertically placed cameras. There’s a fourth shooter placed on the right side of the LED flash unit. A fingerprint sensor will be present in the middle of the handset. The phone will have a camera bump at the rear and the volume rocker and power button will be placed on the right side.
As for the specifications, Huawei P20 Lite (2019) will sport a 5.84-inch LCD display with full-HD+ resolution. The phone is said to be powered by a 2.2GHz HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor. The device is tipped to arrive with 4GB of RAM and two storage configurations – 64GB and 128GB, which will support microSD cards for memory expansion. At the rear, the handset is said to offer a 24-megapixel primary camera, but there’s no word on its other three sensors. For selfies, the phone could pack either a 16MP or a 20MP sensor. A 3,000mAh battery is rumoured to power the device.
Furthermore, the report suggests that the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) will be offered in three colour variants – black, blue, and red. The phone will be available in the price range between €280 (about Rs 22,000) and €330 (roughly Rs 36,000), depending on the configuration. As of now, there’s no word when the brand is planning to officially unveil the device.
