Huawei P20, P20 Pro, and P20 Lite’s high-res renders and pricing details leaked

“All three upcoming Huawei P series smartphones are expected to come with a notch design”

Huawei recently announced that it will be unveiling its next-gen P series smartphones at an event in Paris on March 27th. The upcoming devices are rumoured to include the Huawei P20, P20 Pro, and P20 Lite. Ahead of the unveiling, almost every single detail about the next-gen Huawei P series offerings has already been leaked. Now, the popular gadget tipster Roland Quandt has posted a handful of high-resolution press renders of all three upcoming Huawei smartphones. In addition, the tipster has also revealed the expected pricing of the P20 series devices.Huawei P20 render

Talking about the Huawei P20 first, the leaked renders indicate that the phone will have a notch above the screen. The phone will come with a physical home button on the front, which will integrate a fingerprint sensor as well. At the rear, you will find two primary cameras, which will be powered by LEICA technology. The device will be available in three colours – black, blue, and pink.

Huawei P20 Pro render

Coming to the Huawei P20 Pro, it will also feature a fingerprint sensor in the bottom bezel and a notch above the screen. However, at the back, it will notably flaunt three LEICA-powered cameras. The third camera sensor is expected to be an 80mm telephoto lens. The triple camera system is expected to include an RGB sensor, a monochrome sensor and a third 3x-telephoto lens. The photos also show that the smartphone will have f/1.6 and f/2.4 aperture lenses. While the P20 is expected to sport an LCD display, the P20 Pro variant is said to flaunt an OLED screen. The source suggests that the handset could be available in colours like black, blue, and lilac.

Huawei P20 Lite render

As for the Huawei P20 Lite, the leaked images suggest that the phone will feature a cut-out above the screen and a slim bottom bezel. Unlike the P20 and P20 Pro, the P20 Lite’s fingerprint sensor seems to be placed at the rear. Just like the P20, the Lite variant will also feature a dual primary camera setup at the rear. The colour options shown in the photos include black, blue and pink. While the P20 and P20 Pro seem to offer a metal chassis, the P20 Lite appears to feature a glass back panel.

The P20 Lite has also appeared on a retailer’s website in Poland. The design of the device on the retailer’s site is similar to the one indicated by the leaked renders. The listing mentions that the phone will feature a 5.84-inch FullView 2.0 display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The device is expected to be powered by a Kirin 659 SoC, aided by 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The retailer’s listing indicates that the P20 Lite will get a 16MP primary snapper at the back, aided by a 2MP sensor. For selfies, the smartphone is said to include a 16MP snapper sitting within the notch. The other leaked specs include Android 8.0 Oreo, Bluetooth 4.2, and a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging.

As per Quandt, the Huawei P20 Lite will cost €369 (~Rs 29,500). The P20 will be available for €679 (~Rs 54,300), while the P20 Pro model will set you back by €899 (~Rs 72,000). We will have their official specs, pricing and availability details later this month.
