Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are now receiving a new EMUI update that brings version number up to 184.108.40.206. This includes a new Night Mode option in the selfie camera, and as the name suggests, it will produce better-exposed images in low-light conditions by stacking multiple shots and stitching them together. The EMUI version 220.127.116.11 update also brings the August security patch as well. The update is already rolling out in China and should reach everyone in a week or two. Huawei P30 and P30 Pro update should roll out to other markets in the coming few weeks.
To recall, the Huawei P30 flagships are powered by the in-house HiSilicon 7nm Kirin 980 chipset and have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. While the P30 Pro a relatively larger 6.47-inch full-HD+ OLED HDR Display with DCI-P3 colour gamut and Huawei’s Acoustic technology that vibrates the screen to produce sound. The standard P30 flaunts a 6.1-inch full-HD+ OLED HDR Display. Both the phones run on Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI skin on top. The P30 packs a 3,650mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge fast-charging tech on board. While the P30 Pro has a massive 4,200mAh battery.
In terms of optics, the Huawei P30 Pro rocks a quad-rear camera setup with a 40MP primary sensor, a 20-MP ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP telephoto lens and a ToF lens. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. On the other hand, the P30 boasts a triple camera set up on the rear with a 40-megapixel f/1.8 primary lens, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and an 8-megapixel depth sensor with 3x zoom.
