“Huawei will be unveiling the new P30 and P30 Pro flagship phones in Paris on March 26th”
While we know the exact dates for the Huawei P30 global launch, there was no information about the India launch, until now. According to a report by news agency IANS, Huawei plans on launching the new phones soon after the global launch. The company would be unveiling the P30 and P30 Pro at an event in Paris on March 26th. You can expect the India launch to take place a few days after the Paris event.
The Huawei P30 Pro is going to be the next flagship from the company and we pretty much know all there is to know about the phone. It is going to be a powerful phone with an equally impressive camera. The Huawei P20 Pro was the first P series phone to be launched in India, so it is only logical to give users in India the successor. A source gave the following statement to IANS: “The company is dedicated to the India market and it aims to narrow the gap in the timing of global launches of flagship devices with this phone.”
Huawei has been doing very well globally and is currently on track to dethrone Samsung as the biggest smartphone manufacturer. The company has delivered plenty of impressive phones and recently even entered the foldable smartphone scene with the Mate X. The Mate 20 Pro (review), another flagship from Huawei, has been huge success and is considered as one of the best smartphones of 2018.
Now, let’s talk a little about the upcoming P30 series. The standard P30 is said to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display and sport a triple-rear camera setup. The bigger P30 Pro will have a larger 6.47-inch display and a water-drop notch. The phone is also said to utilise a Crystal OLED sound technology to get rid of the speaker grille. The Pro variant will feature a quad-rear camera setup, with three sensors placed vertically, and a fourth one placed next to it along with the flash. One of the sensors is said to provide up to 10X lossless optical zoom. We will have to wait till March 26th to find out all the details.
