“The Huawei P30 Pro and P30 are scheduled to launch on March 26th in Paris”
Huawei will be launching its upcoming flagships – P30 and P30 Pro at its launch event on March 26th in Paris. Ahead of the launch, WinFuture revealed the complete spec sheet of the flagships of the upcoming smartphones. Now a couple of leaks have revealed the design of both smartphones as well as the release date of the Huawei P30 Pro.
Greek blog Techblog.gr has posted what looks like the fingerprint scanner testing video (embedded above) of Huawei P30 Pro and a hands-on image of the P30. According to the blog, the video comes from a tempered glass screen protector manufacturing factory in China. Notably, the P30 Pro is expected to use an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and as such should not have an issue functioning with the screen protector on. We can also see the curved display on the sides, which is missing from the P30 as seen in the hands-on image posted on the same website. The P30 seems to be featuring a flat display unlike the Pro variant. However, both smartphones are seen flaunting the waterdrop notch as was speculated.

In a separate leak, Amazon erroneously put up the listing for the Huawei P30 Pro Amber Sunrise variant, revealing the release date and pricing of the handset. However, the listing has since been taken down by the website.
While it’s not clear which Amazon listing is this but the delivery location is shown as Spain, which could be the hint. The smartphone was listed for €1024.19, which is roughly equal to Rs 80,000. Moreover, the listing mentions that the release date for the handset is April 5th. The Amazon listing also reveals the key specs of the handset including Kirin 980 chipset, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie, 4,200mAh battery, 40MP+20MP+8MP+3D ToF setup on back, and 32MP selfie shooter. The listing also confirms the presence of 10x hybrid zoom on the upcoming smartphone.
While the leaks and speculations have not left much to the imagination, we will get to know the exact details next week when the smartphones go official.
