After months of teasing, Huawei finally launched its latest flagship duo — the P30 and P30 Pro at an event in Paris recently. As was anticipated, the Huawei P30 Pro has topped the DxOMark rating with a record-breaking 112 points. Notably, the P30 Pro is the first from the brand to come with a quad-camera array on the rear. Both P30 and P30 Pro are almost identical except for the additional 3D ToF sensor, larger display and bigger battery for the Pro variant. The smartphones are loaded with top-of-the-line hardware like Huawei’s Kirin 980 chipset, graphene film cooling system,  40W SuperCharge fast-charging tech, 15W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. Huawei P30 and P30 Pro launch in India is expected to be around mid-April.

Realme 3 Pro

Realme launched its latest budget-offering — the Realme 3 (review) with 6.2-inch HD+ display, dual rear cameras, and AI front camera earlier this month. The brand then went on to announce that the Pro variant of the phone called Realme 3 Pro is coming in April 2019 to compete with the Redmi Note 7 Pro (review). However, at this point, we don’t know anything about the smartphone, except for the fact that it would be aiming to take on Xiaomi’s budget blockbuster and hence we can expect the Realme 3 Pro price in India to be quite aggressive.

Nokia 9 PureView

The Huawei P30 Pro is not the only camera behemoth landing in India next month. World’s first penta camera-toting smartphone, the Nokia 9 PureView India launch is also expected in the month of April. HMD Global has already started teasing the launch of the flagship in India with a video of the handset ending with the typical ‘Stay Tuned’ tag. As far as imaging is concerned, the penta-camera module comprises five 12MP sensors, with three of them shooting in monochrome and remaining two in RGB. Notably, the smartphone flaunts top-notch spec sheet including a 5.99-inch QHD+ pOLED PureDisplay, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845optical in-display fingerprint sensor and a 3,320mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy A40

Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A20, A40 and A70 smartphones, which will join the previously-launched Galaxy A10, A30 (review), and A50 (review). Apart from these two, the chaebol is also working on the A40 and A90, which are expected to be launched on April 10th. Notably, the Galaxy A20 and A40 flaunt the Infinity-U display from Samsung, whereas the A60 and A90 are expected to feature the same Infinity-O display as the Galaxy S10e (review) and Galaxy S10. There are speculations that these mid-rangers will launch sooner than later, and they’re surely among the most-anticipated smartphones expected to launch in India in April.

Vivo S1

Vivo S1 - featured

Vivo recently introduced an all-new S series of smartphones in China with the launch of Vivo S1. The smartphone is quite similar to the V15, but comes with a 25-megapixel front camera, instead of a 32MP sensor in the latter. However, as per our sources, the company has plans to launch the same smartphone as an online-exclusive offering in India next month. However, there’s no word on the actual launch date of the phone.

Black Shark Helo

The Xiaomi-backed gaming smartphone company recently announced that the Black Shark line-up of gaming smartphones will make their debut in India soon. While the phonemaker has not revealed any particular launch date, it’s expected to be in April. Moreover, the announcement from the brand had an emphasis on the word ‘Hello’, leading us to believe that it could be the Black Shark Helo that might be the first to launch here. The smartphone flaunts features like 60Hz display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 10GB RAM, dual cameras, gaming-specific design and massive battery as its highlights.

The brand could also have a surprise in store for us in the form of the newly-released Black Shark 2 as well, which comes powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 855 SoC.
