“The Huawei P40 series is slated to launch as early as March 2020 in Paris”
The Huawei P40 series is said to launch next month at an event in Paris. Ahead of that, two possible handsets in the series, Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro, have allegedly surfaced on Chinese certification website TENAA. The database reveals that both Huawei P40, with the model number Huawei ANA-AN00/ANA-TN00, and Huawei P40 Pro, with the model number ELS-AN00/ELS-TN00, will come with 5G connectivity, which does not come as a surprise. The handsets, meanwhile, have also been spotted on Russia’s EEC certification database, though with different model numbers. The Huawei P40 has allegedly been listed with ANA-NX9 model number, whereas the Huawei P40 Pro may come with ELS-NX9 model number. That’s all the information the certification sites have divulged at the moment.
Separately, Huawei P40 Lite E has surfaced on benchmarking site Geekbench. The handset could be the most affordable version in the P40 lineup. The Huawei P40 Lite E (with the model number Huawei ART-L29) will be powered by a 1.71GHz octa-core Hisilicon chipset paired with 4GB of RAM, per Geekbench. The handset runs Android 10 and manages to score 1,400 points in the single-core test and 5,307 points in the multi-core test.
Huawei P40 series specifications

The Huawei P40 Pro, on the other hand, will reportedly sport a curved display with an elongated punch-hole at the top right corner. The phone is said to come with a Penta-camera setup, along with a dual-tone flash module and the coveted Leica branding. The handset is tipped to feature a 52-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.3 aperture, a 40-megapixel cine sensor, an 8-megapixel periscope sensor with 10x optical zoom, and a 3D Time-of-Flight sensor.
The Huawei P40 series is will reportedly be available in Mint, Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue, and Ice White colours.
