“The Huawei Watch 2 is a sportier model which comes with rubber straps whereas the Huawei Watch 2 Classic features a stainless steel bezel and leather straps”
With Google finally pushing out Android Wear 2.0, we finally saw some interesting wearables at MWC in Barcelona. One such product was Huawei’s second-generation smartwatch dubbed the Huawei Watch 2. The watch itself comes in two different variants catering to different users. The Huawei Watch 2 is a sportier model which comes with rubber straps whereas the Huawei Watch 2 Classic features a stainless steel bezel and leather straps to offer a more premium and stylish look.
Spec-wise, both the watches are identical and come with IP68 certification for protection against liquid spills. Both the watches are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoCs which work in tandem with 768MB of RAM. Users get 4GB of internal storage to play with as well as support for 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The Huawei Watch 2 also features an e-SIM card. Both the models source their fuel from 420mAh batteries. The Huawei Watch 2 will be available starting €330 (~Rs 23,000), while the Watch 2 Classic is being offered for €399 (~Rs 28,000). While the watches won’t be available in India until April, we do have some pictures to give you a quick first look.
