Chinese handset maker, Huawei, recently launched the Huawei P Smart (2019) mid-range smartphone, which flaunted a large display, Kirin 710 mid-range SoC, Android Pie-based custom UI, and 3,400mAh battery as its key highlights. Now, the phone maker has gone ahead and launched a more affordable variant of the same handset called the Y7 Pro (2019) in Vietnam.

The Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) has been listed on the official Vietnamese page of Huawei, as well as the online retailer Lazada. The smartphone has been listed with a price tag of  VND 3,990,000, which is roughly Rs 12,000. The brand is offering the smartphone in two hues – Black and Blue. The handset will go on sale starting January 5th and early birds will get a free Bluetooth speaker as a complimentary gift.

The Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) ships with a 6.26-inch LCD display HD+ resolution, waterdrop notch and a 19:9 ratio. Driving the performance of the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset backed by Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is further accompanied by 3-gigs of RAM and 32GB storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. On the imaging front, the Y7 Pro (2019) comes with a dual camera module featuring a 13MP camera with f/1.8 aperture backed by a 2MP depth sensor. The display notch on the front is housing the 16MP selfie camera.

On the software front, the Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) boots EMUI 8.2 based on the last generation Android Oreo. For power requirements, the device relies on a beefy 4,000mAh battery. However, the smartphone is missing a fingerprint scanner and gets face unlock security in place.
