IFA 2026: Lenovo unveils new ThinkBook laptops and ThinkCentre desktops with local AI

Highlights

Lenovo has expanded its commercial lineup at IFA 2026 with new ThinkBook laptops and ThinkCentre desktops targeting businesses that are starting to use AI more in their everyday work. The ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 and ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 take slightly different approaches, with the former focusing on on-device AI performance and the latter putting more emphasis on a lightweight, portable design.

Lenovo has also introduced new ThinkCentre desktops, including the ThinkCentre X Ultra, a compact machine designed for more demanding local AI workloads.
