The San-Diego based company had a good year with a range of flagship and mid-range chipsets such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC, Snapdragon 695 SoC, Snapdragon 480+, Snapdragon 778G+, and others. All these resulted in the brand becoming the users’ choice of the year in the smartphone SoC segment. Qualcomm achieved this feat despite fierce competition from MediaTek with its Dimensity and Helios chipsets.
