The Infinx HOT 50 comes in two body types: plastic and vegan leather. The Sleek Black, Vibrant Blue, and Sage Green shades feature a plastic body with a matte finish, while the Dreamy Purple variant has a vegan leather body with a dual-tone finish. Moreover, it has an IP54 rating offering protection against dust particles and water splashes. 

Moto G45

On the other hand, the Moto G45 has a vegan leather body that is available in three finishes: Brillant Blue, Viva Magenta, and Brillant Green. However, it only has an IP52 rating for protection against dust and water spills.

In our testing, the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 scored 4,33,932 points on AnTuTu, and on Geekbench, it secured 781 points in the single-core test and 1,981 points in the multi-core test. On the other hand, the Moto G45 achieved 4,49,055 points on AnTuTu, with 929 points in the single-core test and 2,159 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. 

Infinix HOT 50 5G vs Moto G45 5G: cameras 

In the camera department, the Moto G45 5G is a clear winner, considering the on-paper camera configuration of both phones. With the Moto G45, not only do you get a better 16MP selfie camera than the Infinx HOT 50’s 8MP snapper, but also a superior rear camera setup.

Both phones ship with the same 5,000mAh battery capacity with 18W charging support configuration. In our testing, the Moto G45 5G lasted for 9 hours and 51 minutes on the PCMark battery test and took 1 hour and 32 minutes to go from 20 percent to 100 percent battery level. Thus, you can expect similar results from the Infinix HOT 50 5G as well. 

Infinix HOT 50 5G vs Moto G45 5G: software

The Moto G45 offers a stock Android 14 experience, while the Infininx HOT 50 has XOS based on Android 14. Motorola promises one major OS release and three years of security patches, while Infinix hasn’t revealed any details about how many updates the HOT 50 will get. 

Moreover, the Infinix HOT 50 comes with a few AI tools and photography features that add to its software experience. On the other hand, the Mot G45 doesn’t have any AI features. 

Verdict 

After taking a detailed look at every aspect of both devices, it’s clear that both phones have their own perks and drawbacks. Regardless of their flaws, both phones are pretty capable for the asking price. While the Moto G45 has an edge in certain departments, the Infinix HOT 50 offers remarkable performance with a decent overall experience.
