
After teasing the arrival of a new racing edition, Infinix has officially unveiled the Infinix Note 40 series Racing Edition. This new edition comes with a special design, which is done in collaboration with BMW Group Designworks. There are five models in the Infinix Note 40 series Racing Edition, including the Infinix Note 40, Note 40 5G, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 5G, and Note 40 Pro+ 5G. To recall, the brand already unveiled the standard editions of these phones.
Infinix Note 40 series Racing Edition price, availability
- The Infinix Note 40 Racing Edition price starts at $209 (approx Rs 17,500).
- The Note 40 5G Racing Edition starts at $259 (roughly Rs 21,600)
- The Infinix Note 40 Pro Racing Edition 4G and 5G models start from $279 (roughly Rs. 23,300) and $309 (roughly Rs. 25,800), respectively.
- Lastly, the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition starts at $329 (roughly Rs. 27,500).
All the Infinix Note 40 series Racing Edition handsets will be available across various markets globally. To this extent, the price and availability will vary based on region.
Infinix Note 40 series Racing Edition design
The Infinix Note 40 series comes with a new Racing Edition model. While the external look of the phones is similar to the regular models, we get new design elements like a silver colour option with vertical ridges for better grip and a glossy finish to make them distinguishable. The design is made using an advanced UV transfer printing process.
There is also the BMW tri-colour logo visible on the rear camera module. The new Racing Edition models bring some software tweaks as well. You get exclusive wallpapers and UI elements inspired by racetracks.
Infinix Note 40 series Racing Edition specs, features
Besides the new design changes, the hardware specifications remain the same as the standard models. The Infinix Note 40 and Note 40 Pro come with the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, while the 5G variants of the same models and the Note 40 Pro+ feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset.
The Note 40 and Note 40 Pro phones feature 5,000mAh batteries each, while the Pro+ version has a slightly smaller 4,600mAh cell but supports 100W wired fast charging. All the phones in the series ship with Android 14-based XOS custom skin out of the box. The phones come with a 108MP triple camera setup on the back and a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies.
For context, Infinix launched the Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition and this is also made in partnership with BMW’s Designworks. This offers a visually appealing design, which looks like illuminated racing cars during nighttime. The phone has 3D Lighting Leather technology with BMW’s tri-colour light strip on the black leather. The UI also gets a revamp with custom icons and themes.
