- Infinix Smart 5 has appeared on the Google Play Console listing
- The listing revealed the phone’s chipset, RAM, and resolution
- This comes just a day after the brand launched the Infinix Smart 4 Plus in India
Infinix Smart 5 seems to be in the development already just a day after launching the Smart 4 Plus in India. The handset has been spotted on the Google Play Console listing with key specifications along with a render of the phone and its model number – Infinix-X657. According to the listing, the Infinix Smart 5 will ship with an HD+ display with 1,600 X 720 pixels resolution and 320 DPI pixel density. The handset will be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 SoC paired with 2GB RAM and Mali 400 GPU. The Infinix Smart 5 will run on Android 10 OS, probably skinned with a custom skin on top.
While the render doesn’t explicitly show the design completely, it hints at a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera and a sizeable chin below the screen. However, we don’t get to see the rear-design, but considering the Smart Plus that launched yesterday, it could have dual-rear cameras at the very least. Not much else is known about the Infinix Smart 5 at the moment, but we should learn more details going forward.
The Infinix Smart 4 Plus was launched in India this week with specifications that include a large 6.82-inch HD+ display with 720 X 1,640 pixels resolution, and 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio.
