Infinix Smart 7 has been launched in India as the latest budget offering in the country. The handset comes as a successor to the Smart 6. The phone comes with a waterdrop notch to house the selfie snapper, sizeable bezels, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and a large square module to house dual camera sensors. The phone has a textured finish on the back panel, which looks quite unique and has a boxy design similar to most Android phones these days.

The Infinix Smart 7 is priced at Rs 7,299 and comes in Azure Blue, Emerald Green and Night Black colours. The handset will be on sale in the country from February 27th.

Infinix Smart 7 sports a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie camera, 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 500nits brightness, and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The handset is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A1 processor paired with IMG8322 GPU for graphics. The phone packs 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB storage that is further expandable up to 2TB. There’s support for 3GB virtual RAM.
The Infinix Smart 7 runs on Android 12 with XOS 12 custom skin out of the box. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone measures 164.2×75.63×9.37 and weigh 207 grams. There is a large 6,000mAh battery with 10W charging support.
Moving to optics, the Infinix Smart 7 packs a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture and an AI lens for selfies and video chats. There is a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
