Infinix Zero 40 vs OnePlus Nord 4: design
The Infinix Zero 40 comes with a curved plastic build with a dual-tone matte finish. The rear panel houses a triple rear camera setup tucked in a ring module. It comes in pink, silver, and black colourways.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord 4 (review) features a metal body with a dual-tone finish. The Mercurial Silver variant has a 2D laser-etched design in a silver tone, the Obsidian Midnight unit has a textured finish with dark black and grey colours, and the Oasis Green edition comes in light and dark green shades.
With an IP54 rating, the Infinix Zero 40 is safe against dust particles and light rain. However, the Nord 4 has a better IP65 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
Infinix Zero 40 vs OnePlus Nord 4: display
The Infinix Zero 40 has a better display than the OnePlus Nord 4. It features a bigger 6.78-inch 144Hz screen compared to the Nord 4’s 6.74-inch 120Hz pane, delivering a smoother watching experience. Moreover, it also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection against scratches and wear and tear, while the Nord 4 lacks screen protection. However, the OnePlus Nord 4 has a better 1.2K resolution compared to the Full-HD+ resolution of the Infinix Zero 40, offering a clearer viewing experience.
Infinix Zero 40 vs OnePlus Nord 4: performance
While we haven’t tested the performance of the Infinix Zero 40 yet, we know that the OnePlus Nord 4 has a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC at the helm than the Infinix Zero 40’s MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip.
However, the Nord 4 base option comes with 8GB RAM while the Infinix Zero 40 comes with only 12GB RAM. The 4GB RAM difference will be noticeable while multitasking. Moreover, it also offers more storage options than the OnePlus Nord 4.
During our testing, the Nord 4 scored 11,69,622 points on AnTuTu and 1,744 points for the single-core test with 4,365 points for the multi-core test on Geekbench.
Infinix Zero 40 vs OnePlus Nord 4: cameras
On paper, the Infinx Zero 40 is the better camera phone. It sports a better 108MP main sensor than the OnePlus Nord 4’s 50MP shooter, which should result in more detailed and crisp photos. It also boasts a 50MP ultrawide lens, which should outperform the OnePlus Nord 4’s 8MP ultrawide lens and could provide better wide-angle images.
The Infinix Zero 40 includes an extra 2MP depth sensor for creating a depth effect on the subject in a photo. The Infinix Zero 40’s 50MP front camera should be superior to the OnePlus Nord 4’s 20MP sensor.

Infinix Zero 40 vs OnePlus Nord 4: battery and charging
In the battery and charging department, the OnePlus Nord 4 is a clear winner. It has a bigger 5,500mAh battery capacity with a faster 100W charging support. In comparison, the Infinx Zero 40 has a 5,000mAh cell with 45W charging support. However, the Zero 40 also supports 20W wireless charging, a feature missing on the OnePlus Nord 4. In our testing, the Nord 4 lasted 16 hours and 58 minutes in the PCMark battery test and took 23 minutes to charge from 20 percent to 100 percent battery level.
Infinix Zero 40 vs OnePlus Nord 4: software
Both phones come pre-installed with the newest version of Android out of the box. The Infinix Note 40 runs XOS based on Android 14, whereas the OnePlus Nord 4 uses OxygenOS, an Android 14-based custom skin. While both phones have a few pre-installed apps, you can easily remove them if you don’t need them. Furthermore, both smartphones feature AI technologies that enhance the software experience.
However, OnePlus promises four years of OS upgrades and six years of security patches for the Nord 4, but Infinix only provides two major Android releases and three years of security updates for the Zero 40.
