Intex has launched a new smartphone under the Aqua series called the Aqua Ace. It is the brand’s first smartphone to boast 3GB of RAM. The phone sports a premium design with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 at both the front and rear. It is one of the slimmest and lightest smartphones in its range with a waistline of 6.7mm and a weight of 121.5 grams.
The Intex Aqua Ace sports a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device utilises a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 64-bit support, aided by a Mali T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. For storage, it offers 16GB of internal memory, which users can further increase up to 128GB via a microSD card.
For imaging, the Aqua Ace comes with a 13-megapixel rear snapper, assisted by an LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front shooter. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers 4G LTE support, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. A 2,300mAh battery keeps the phone running.
The Intex Aqua Ace runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and offers a slew of software features, including Smart Wake and Smart Motion features that let you access certain functions without unlocking the device and carry out other tasks without touching the screen. The handset has been priced at Rs 12,999, and will be available in black and white hues with a gold finish running around the edges. It is being bundled with one-year free screen replacement warranty, a backpack, and a smart flip cover.
