“The INFIE 33 is the latest 18:9 display-toting smartphone”
The homegrown handset maker, Intex recently debuted its new INFIE series of smartphones with the launch of the INFIE 33 and INFIE 3. Notably, these smartphones come with a taller 18:9 displays and an all-new Intex UI with a unified homescreen. While the INFIE 3 comes with Android Go (Oreo Edition), the INFIE 33 comes as a more loaded variant, but with an older iteration of the Google’s OS in the form of Nougat.
The Intex Infie 33 comes in a red and white box with the smartphone illustrated on the top, branding all around and core specs at the bottom. Lifting the lid, you are greeted by the Infie 33 lying atop a tray, which conceals the wall charger, micro-USB cable and the pair of in-ear earphones. The handset maker has also included a pair of clear PET screen protector in the package as well.
Design-wise, the Intex Infie 33 comes with a more modern 18:9 display, with a polycarbonate removable back. The rear panel of the smartphone needs to be removed in order to insert the dual SIM and a microSD card. The power and volume buttons all rest on the left side whereas the micro-USB port and a 3.5mm audio socket are placed on top. Talking of the specs, the INFIE 33 comes with a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ (480×960 pixels) display. The performance of the handset is driven by a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC of an unknown make. The chipset is further backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, which is expandable further up to 128GB. In the imaging department, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera accompanied by a dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
The brand is offering the INFIE 33 in black, blue, and champagne colour options. The handset will set you back by Rs 5,049 and can be picked up at major brick and mortar store in India.
