“Case maker ESR is carrying listing for leather cases and glass screen protectors with iPhone 11 monikers”
Apple’s iPhone 11 September launch is inching closer, and while the company is said to launch three new models much like last year, the naming of these isn’t confirmed. Contrary to previous rumours, case maker ESR, which sells iPhone cases on Amazon and other online platforms, suggests the 2019 iPhone line-up would carry iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Max monikers. As spotted by iPhonesoft.fr, ESR is carrying listings for leather cases and glass screen protectors with iPhone 11 designation.
According to the case maker, Apple iPhone 11 could be the iPhone XR successor, which means it could have a 6.1-inch display, dual rear cameras, and a familiar design. The iPhone 11 Pro could be the successor to 2018’s iPhone XS, while the bigger 6.5-inch variant could be marketed as iPhone 11 Pro Max. Both these models could have a triple rear camera setup in a square matrix. Since case makers usually bet on rumours and reports for smartphone names, there’s no way to tell if these would be the final monikers, but they could be. We will only know when Apple makes an announcement officially.
The upcoming Apple iPhones are expected to be powered by the A13 chipset and run on iOS 13 right out of the box. The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max successors will also have an additional ultra-wide-angle lens and bigger capacity batteries with reverse wireless charging support. Rumours also point that all the three iPhones will be on sale at the same time, unlike last year where the iPhone XR was made available in November. The iPhone 11 is also said to come with Apple Pencil support for the first time and feature 14MP primary rear camera sensor. We should know more details soon.
