The iPhone 12 protective case reveals a square-shaped cutout at the rear for the camera module. Considering the cutout shape, this is likely going to be the iPhone 12 Pro that is rumoured to ship with triple camera setup and a Lidar sensor at the back. The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 is said to rock dual rear cameras and may not have a square-module. Since the legitimacy of the leak can’t be confirmed at the moment, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt for now.

The iPhone 12 Pro line-up is said to arrive with a 120Hz ProMotion Display and a larger capacity battery to accompany the high refresh rate. The LIDAR sensor will assist with faster autofocus, better portrait mode shots and AR experiences. The telephoto lens zoom function will be increased to 3x optical zoom. Reports suggest that iPhone 12 Pro will improve low-light photography through the electronic image stabilisation. The Face ID sensor will get support for wider angle of view.
