Kuo has added that he expects all the new 2022 iPhones (expected to be called iPhone 14) to come with improved ultra-wide cameras as well. Largan is said to become the major supplier of voice coil motors (VCM) for the improved ultra-wide camera with about 70 per cent of the orders for the iPhone 13. The analyst believes that shipments for the iPhone 13 will increase YoY and boost supply chain in several factors, including 5G infrastructure in 2H21, Apple’s return to the usual September timeline for iPhone mass production and sale, and camera improvements.
