The iPhone 16 Pro was launched this month alongside other models in India and globally but will go on sale this week.   • A 45-second video posted by tipster Majin Bu on X (formerly Twitter) showcases the unboxing of the iPhone 16 Pro.
  • Like previous models, the packaging of the new iPhone 16 Pro does not include a charger or headphones.
  • After unboxing it, the iPhone 16 Pro can be seen placed face down in the box in Black Titanium colour.
  • Under the iPhone, there is a USB-C to USB-C braided cable, and the box no longer includes an Apple sticker, but they might be available upon request.
  • Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro’s new Camera Control button can also be seen on the right edge of the phone.

iPhone 16 Pro price in India, pre-order details

The all-new iPhone 16 Pro has been launched in India for Rs 1,19,900 for the 128GB model, Rs 1,29,900 for the 256GB variant, Rs 1,49,900 for the 512GB variant and Rs 1,69,900 for the 1TB storage variant. The iPhone 16 series pre-orders started last week, and the phones will be available starting September 20th.

iPhone 16 series new features

The iPhone 16 series models come with a lot of upgrades compared to the iPhone 15 series. They feature a USB-C charging port, and the Action button has now come to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, alongside the Pro variants.

Additionally, the series features a new ‘Camera Control’ button, which is placed below the power key. Notably, it also functions as an AI button that allows actions such as taking and searching for pictures.

While the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are equipped with the new A18 chipset, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are powered by the company’s new A18 Pro Bionic chip, which is claimed to be 15 percent faster than the A17 Pro.

Notably, the display size of the iPhone 16 Pro has been upgraded from 6.1-inch to 6.3-inch, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max now offers a larger 6.9-inch display, up from 6.7-inch on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
