iPhone 16e available for as low as Rs 52,790 on Amazon and Vijay Sales

iPhone 16e was launched in India back in February as the new affordable Apple offering and a new entrant in the iPhone 16 series. The handset replaced the iPhone SE lineup. While it only gets a single rear camera, there’s support for Apple Intelligence, a new A18 chipset and Apple’s in-house C1 modem. A couple of months after its announcement, the iPhone 16e is available at a discounted price. Here are the deal details.

iPhone 16e deal

iPhone 16e launched originally at Rs 59,900 for the 128GB model, Rs 69,900 for the 256GB and Rs 89,900 for the 512GB.
On Vijay Sales, the phone is listed at Rs 56,900, Rs 66,990 and Rs 85,400. This is a discount of up to Rs 4,500 against the launch cost.
Additionally, there’s a Rs 4,000 bank discount with ICICI, Axis, and Kotak cards. HDFC cardholders get a Rs 3,500 discount on 6 months and above EMI.
This brings the effective price to Rs 52,900, Rs 62,990 and Rs 81,400, respectively. This is also the lowest price of the phone since its launch earlier this year.
On Amazon, the iPhone 16e is listed at Rs 56,790 for the base model, and there’s a Rs 4,000 bank discount. This brings the effective final price to Rs 52,790.
The iPhone 16e can be purchased in Black and White colours.

Should you buy the iPhone 16e?

The iPhone 16e is a solid entry-level iPhone for anyone looking to enter the Apple ecosystem without breaking the bank. It offers modern features like the A18 chip, Apple Intelligence, good performance, and battery life – all in a compact form factor.

However, limitations like a single rear camera, 60Hz display, and lack of MagSafe might be deal-breakers for some. While the current deal is attractive, waiting for festive sales could get you an even better price.
