iQOO 15 pre-orders go live in India as leaked pricing hints at a major jump
The Android flagship season is officially in full swing, with back-to-back launches like the OnePlus 15, OPPO Find X9 series, and Realme GT 8 Pro. Next in line is the iQOO 15, launching in India on November 26th. While the big day is still a few days away, the iQOO 15 is already available for pre-orders with attractive launch offers. There’s also a fresh leak hinting at the phone’s India pricing, which is a trending topic right now, especially as this year’s flagships have arrived with noticeable price hikes. In fact, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya has confirmed that the iQOO 15 will also see a price bump.
The iQOO 15 is available to pre-book through a ‘Priority Pass’ system via Amazon India and the iQOO India online store. It’s priced at Rs 1,000, which will be adjusted later in the final purchase amount. It gets you a free pair of iQOO TWS 1e earbuds, a 12-month extended warranty, and priority delivery of the iQOO 15. Those with the Priority Pass must purchase the phone between November 20th at 6:00 pm and November 28th at 11:59 pm. The Priority Pass benefits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be transferred. If unused, the amount will be refunded to the buyer.

Coming to the price leak, the iQOO 15 will reportedly cost Rs 72,999 for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. This is based on an Amazon listing of the phone spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav. An accompanying screenshot has been shared, too, making the leak believable. The 16GB + 512GB variant will be available at Rs 79,999, according to the leak. If so, the iQOO 15 would cost the same as the Realme GT 8 Pro and the OnePlus 15, which have also received price hikes.
Interestingly, this pricing is higher than what iQOO CEO Nipun Marya had said about the iQOO 15 being priced between Rs 65,000 and Rs 70,000 in India. It’s tricky since there would be bank offers too, so the final pricing may shift upwards from Marya’s prediction. What’s confirmed is that the iQOO 15 will receive a price hike, but it’s the difference that might shock buyers, as its predecessor iQOO 13, launched at Rs 54,999 in India. This would be a steep price hike for the iQOO flagship, which had maintained an affordable price compared to rivals.
Pricing may increase, but the iQOO 15 still has solid hardware to make up for it. Under the hood, the iQOO 15 packs Qualcomm’s newest powerhouse, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It’s built to push both performance and efficiency to the next level. To keep things cool during intense gameplay, iQOO has equipped the phone with a large 8000mm² single-layer VC cooling system. Paired with the in-house Q3 gaming chip, the phone is said to support 2K resolution at 144 FPS, making it a serious competitor for gamers and heavy users alike.
For photography, the device features a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. The addition of the periscope lens means sharper and more detailed shots, even from far distances. Powering everything is a huge 7,000mAh battery, a noticeable upgrade from the iQOO 13’s 6,000mAh unit. Charging speeds have shifted slightly, from 120W down to 100W wired, but it’s still among the fastest-charging flagship phones, along with 40W wireless charging support.
The iQOO 13 earned praise not just for its strong performance but also for its competitive pricing. With the iQOO 15, however, things may shift since a price hike is on the cards. But considering every major flagship this season has launched at a premium, the real deciding factor will be how well the iQOO 15 stacks up against its rivals. Judging by the specifications alone, the iQOO 15 is shaping up to deliver flagship performance, particularly for power users and gamers. With less than a week left for the official launch, it’s worth holding off if you’re currently in the market for a high-end Android flagship smartphone.
