iQOO 9 series price starts at RMB 3,999 (approx Rs. 46,900).

The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro smartphones have been launched in China to replace the iQOO 8 lineup as the brand’s flagship models. While the iQOO 9 has a flat screen on the front, the Pro model has slightly curved edges that give it a premium look. There’s a large camera module on the back that houses triple camera sensors and LED flash, a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Both the iQOO 9 and 9 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 50MP primary sensor, and 120W fast charging support. The company is also continuing its partnership with BMW Motorsport with the 9 series.

The iQOO 9 price for the 8GB + 256GB variant is RMB 3,999 (approx Rs. 46,900). You will have to pay RMB 4,399 (about Rs. 51,600) for the 12GB/ 256GB option and RMB 4,799 (roughly Rs. 56,300) for the 12GB/ 512GB model.

Similarly, iQOO 9 Pro 8GB/ 256GB version costs RMB 4,999 (around Rs. 58,600) and RMB 5,499 (approx Rs. 64,500) for the 12GB/ 256GB configuration. Then there’s the top-end 12GB/ 512GB variant that is priced at RMB 5,999 (approx Rs. 70,300).

iQOO 9 and 9 Pro pre-orders begin later today and will be available from January 12th.

iQOO 9 Pro specifications

iQOO 9 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 2K E5 AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 3200 x 1400 pixels resolution, 1500nits brightness, punch-hole cutout, 10bit, and a 100 percent P3 colour gamut. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and stereo speakers.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset coupled with Adreno GPU. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset boots Android 12 OS with OriginOS custom skin out of the box. The phone is equipped with VC liquid cooling to keep the temperature in check while gaming.

There is a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.

Moving to optics, the iQOO 9 Pro has a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies. The rear-camera setup includes a triple camera array, with a 50MP (f/1.75 aperture) primary Samsung GN5 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 150-degree FoV and a 16MP portrait snapper.
