After a lot of speculations, leaks, and rumours, iQOO has finally confirmed the launch of the iQOO 9T smartphone in India. The iQOO 9T will soon arrive in India and will be sold via Amazon in the country. The landing page for the device has already been make live on the e-commerce platform, which showcases its design in all its glory. The iQOO 9T, as per the Amazon India listing, appears to be a rechristened iQOO 10 5G, which is lined up for launch in China this 19th. Let’s take a look.
iQOO 9T India launch confirmed
As seen in the image above, the iQOO 9T has now been confirmed to launch in India. Though the Amazon listing does not tell us about the launch date, we can expect the iQOO 9T to be unveiled in the country by month end, as its potential rival, the OnePlus 10T 5G, has also been rumoured to launch in the last week of July in India.
The iQOO 9T banner showcases the device’s rear. The iQOO 9T will feature a dual-tone texture at the back. The bottom portion will be a combination of White colour and the iconic iQOO x BMW stripes. The camera module, on the other hand, will be Black. The device will come with a metal frame and will be curved around the edges, likely for a better grip. Lastly, the iQOO 9T will feature a triple rear camera setup.
iQOO 9T specifications (expected)
The iQOO 9T is said to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel. Powering the device will likely be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. As for the cameras, the iQOO 9T is said to come with a 50MP + 13MP + 12MP rear camera setup and a 16MP front camera. Lastly, the iQOO 9T will likely feature a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
