We reported earlier this week that iQOO is planning to launch its own iQOO Community forum soon. Well, 91mobiles has now learned more about the company’s plans following an interview with iQOO CEO Nipun Marya. The iQOO chief revealed that registrations for the iQOO Community forum, which is officially called iQOO Connect, will begin on April 27th, the same day as the launch of the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G and iQOO Z6 4G.
iQOO will announce iQOO Connect during the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G launch event on April 27th. Additionally, the brand will open registrations on the very same day. While Nipun Marya could not share the launch date for the iQOO Community forum, he expects it to go live in May.
iQOO Connect will be a place where “fans can come, share feedback, thoughts, and more,” Nipun Marya told 91mobiles. This will be the first phase, while a second phase looks to offer something for e-sports enthusiasts and those looking to up their social media game.
Of course, you can also expect the latest OTA software release announcements on the iQOO Connect forum as well. Brands like OnePlus and Realme have had their own community pages for a while now and iQOO wants to join that list as the company looks to expand its portfolio of smartphones in India.
iQOO plans to launch an iQOO Connect app in the future. For now, it will be available through the iQOO website. We will learn more about the iQOO Community launch during the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G launch event, so stay tuned for that.
