iQOO recently launched a new mid-range smartphone, the iQOO Neo 10R, in India at a starting price of Rs 26,999. This new smartphone brings a bigger battery, a better display and a more elaborate camera system to iQOO’s Neo series of smartphone. The iQOO Neo 10R competes with the OnePlus Nord 4 in the mid-range smartphone segment in India, which also starts at Rs 26,999 in the country. Here’s a detailed comparison of their specifications for you to share your thoughts on.

iQOO Neo 10R vs OnePlus Nord 4: Design

Both the phones, that is, the iQOO Neo 10R (review) and the OnePlus Nord 4 (review) come with a dual-tone design. While iQOO’s new smartphone comes in Raging Blue and MoonKnight Titanium colour variants, the OnePlus Nord 4 comes in Mercurial Silver, Oasis Green and Obsidian Black colour variants.

In terms of build, the OnePlus Nord 4 comes with a metal body while the iQOO Neo 10R has a plastic chassis. Additionally, the former has a chrome-ring design for the rear camera setup while the latter has a square-shaped rear camera setup.

Both the smartphones have IP65 dust and water-resistant coating.

iQOO Neo 10R vs OnePlus Nord 4: Display

Coming to the screen, the iQOO Neo 10R sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels, and variable screen refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It’s brightness level max out at 4,500 nits. The OnePlus Nord 4, on the other hand, has a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels and a variable screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Its brightness peaks at 2,160Hz. 

iQOO Neo 10R vs OnePlus Nord 4: Performance

Both the smartphones, that is, the iQOO Neo 10R and the OnePlus Nord 4, are performance-centric device that aim to give users a touch of premium experience in the form of the overall finish, the display and the battery charging capabilities. Another way, these smartphones give users a premium feel is using the chipset that powers them and their memory capacity. The iQOO Neo 10R is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset that is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM with up to 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The OnePlus Nord 4, on the other hand, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 that is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDRX5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Both the chips were launched in March 2024. However, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 offers slightly faster CPU and more download speed compared to the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3.

Interestingly enough, both the smartphones have a similar rear camera setups. The iQOO Neo 10R has a 50MP primary portrait camera with a Sony sensor and OIS (Optical Image Stabalisation) technology and 2x zoom. The secondary camera consists of an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.

Similarly, the OnePlus Nord offers a 50MP primary lens with OIS, 2x in-sensor zoom and ability to shoot 4K videos at 60fps. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens at the front. However, on the front it has a 16MP camera.

iQOO Neo 10R vs OnePlus Nord 4: Software

Software is a differentiating factor between the iQOO Neo 10R and the OnePlus Nord 4. While the OnePlus Nord 4 runs Android 14-based OxygenOS 4.1, the iQOO Neo 10R runs Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. However, the OnePlus Nord offers a better software support to the buyers.

The iQOO Neo 10R has a bigger compared to the OnePlus Nord 4. It has a 6,400mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord 4 has a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.
