“Vivo iQOO Neo 3 is expected to launch alongside the regular IQOO 3”
Vivo iQOO Neo 3 name has been spotted on the IMEI database alongside the Vivo iQOO 3. Apart from the confirming the names, the listing does not mention anything about the handsets. But since they started surfacing the internet, we might be inching closer to the launch date for the IQOO 3-series, and it shouldn’t be long before we come across more details. Meanwhile, the regular IQOO Neo has been spotted elsewhere with model number V1955A.
A Vivo phone with model number V1955A has bagged China’s 3C certification. While it isn’t confirmed, it could be the much-rumoured iQOO 3 gaming phone. The listing suggests that it will have 5G connectivity and is accompanied by the V550L0A0-CN charger that supports up to 55W fast charging. This means it could be the fastest charging Vivo phone when launched. There’s a possibility the iQOO 3 could come with Snapdragon 865 SoC and dual-mode 5G. Speculating further, the handset is expected to come with AMOLED display, a screen-fingerprint sensor, and a massive battery.
Separately, Vivo V1950A phone is also in the development as it bagged TENAA certification. The exact identity of the handset isn’t known just yet, but it could be the Snapdragon 865 variant of the NEX 3 5G. It flaunts a 6.89-inch full HD+ display with 1,080 × 2,256 pixels resolution and will be available in two models: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage. The Vivo V1950A is likely to run on Android 10 out of the box. It measures 167.44 x 76.14 x 9.4mm and weighs 219.5 grams. It will have no physical buttons for the volume rocker and power on/off and will rely on squeeze-based gestures.
