Some time ago, we found out about some key iQOO Neo 5 specifications via a leak, which were further confirmed via a Google Play Console listing. Now, we have some more information about the iQOO Neo 5 thanks to tipster Abhishek Yadav, who spotted it on Geekbench. It reconfirms earlier speculations about the smartphone running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. This particular variant of the iQOO Neo 5 appears to be running Android 11 out of the box coupled with 8GB of RAM. Its single- and multi-core scores of 951 and 3,359 fall in line with other Snapdragon 870-powered smartphones, such as the Motorola Edge S/Moto G100, which also made a recent Geekbench appearance.

The iQOO Neo 5 also made an appearance on China’s 3C certification site (via MySmartPrice). This listing tells us that the smartphone will support wired charging at a whopping 66W. Vivo will also include a compatible fast charger along with the retail packaging, as pictured below. The iQOO Neo 5 is tipped to feature a 4,000mAh battery. Therefore, we can expect it to get fully charged in half an hour.

We learned earlier that the iQOO Neo 5 would come with a 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen with a hole-punch cut out for its 8MP selfie camera, although its exact screen size is unknown. As shown by the Geekbench listing, we can expect it to ship with up to 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage, depending on the variant. On the optics side of things, a 48MP Sony IMX598 will star the show alongside a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP sensor (macro/depth). It will run Android 11 out of the box customised with Vivo’s new Origin OS out of the box.
The iQOO Neo 5 is expected to retail at RMB 2,998 (approx. Rs 33,000) for the entry-level variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
