New iQOO Neo phone launch in India teased, could be the iQOO Neo 7 Pro

iQOO Neo 7 launched in India back in February as a mid-range offering that succeeds the iQOO Neo 6 from last year. The handset has received mostly positive reviews for the kind of hardware that it packs. Now, it looks like the brand is gearing up to unveil a new Neo series phone. iQOO India CEO, Nipun Marya in a cryptic tweet has hinted at the arrival of a new iQOO phone in the country. Tipster Mukul Sharma exclusively claims the handset in question is the iQOO Neo 7 Pro, and the background of the image shared by Nipun does seem to subtly say “Neo 7 Pro”.

Mukul shares that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will launch in India by the end of this month or early June.
Unfortunately, no other details regarding the hardware are shared at the moment.
We can speculate the iQOO Neo 7 Pro will be placed above the iQOO Neo 7 considering the ‘Pro’ moniker.
Meanwhile, the iQOO Neo 8 series is set to launch in China later today.

iQOO Neo 7 specifications

Display: iQOO Neo 7 flaunts a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 93.11 percent screen-to-body ratio, 1200Hz instant touch sampling rate, and up to 1500nits brightness.
Processor: The handset is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 coupled with ARM Mali-G610 GPU.
RAM and Storage: The iQOO Neo 7 will pack up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage that is further expandable.
OS: The iQOO Neo 7 runs on Android 13-based OriginOS custom skin out of the box.
Connectivity: Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
Battery: There is a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
Cameras: iQOO Neo 7 has triple cameras on the back, comprising a 64MP camera with OIS, LED flash, a 2MP depth camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
