iQOO Neo 855 smartphone has been officially unveiled in China, just as expected. It is the Snapdragon 855 variant of the original Vivo iQOO Neo that was launched back in July with Snapdragon 845. The new member of the iQOO lineup doesn’t look all that different in terms of design. It comes with the same AMOLED display and a new Icelandic Aurora colour with gradient finish. The iQOO Neo 855 also gets faster UFS 3.0 storage, which combined with faster processor resulted in 477,016 AnTuTu score. The handset also gets support for The dual-WiFi acceleration technology that is claimed to improve the connection during gaming sessions and browsing. It also said to reduce latency by up to 90 percent.

The Vivo iQOO Neo 855 is priced at RMB 1,998 (around Rs 20,100) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB (UFS 2.1), the 6GB + 128GB model sets you back by RMB 2,298 (around Rs 23,100), the 8GB + 128GB costs you RMB 2,498 (around Rs 25,100), and lastly, the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at RMB 2,698 (around Rs 27,200). The phone is already available for pre-order and will go on sale starting October 31st. It comes in Icelandic Aurora, Neon Purple and Carbon Black colours.

The Vivo iQOO Neo 855 flaunts a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with 1,080 x 2,340 pixels resolution, DC Dimming and HDR10 support. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with Adreno 640 GPU, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with FuntouchOS skin overlaid on top. There is also MultiTurbo 2.0 and super-liquid cooling, which is claimed to reduce the CPU temperature by up to 10 degrees and surface temperature by up to 3-degrees. 

In terms of optics, the Vivo iQOO Neo 855 rocks triple rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary snapper, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree field of view and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the handset has a 16MP camera housed in the waterdrop notch for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and A-GPS with GLONASS. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. A 4,500mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support fuels the handset.
