iQOO Z11 launch seems imminent, gets certified in Malaysia
iQOO looks set to expand its Z-series lineup soon. After the launch of the iQOO Z11 Turbo in China in January, the iQOO Z11 has been spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification database, indicating the phone is set to launch in the country soon. The listing confirms the model number I2512 and identifies the device as the iQOO Z11 5G.
The same model number had previously surfaced on the IMEI database, which typically indicates that a phone is undergoing internal testing ahead of launch. The phone was also spotted in China earlier but with a different model number. Two Vivo smartphones with the model numbers V2551A and V2547A were listed on the 3C certification platform and tipster Digital Chat Station had suggested that these correspond to the iQOO Z11x and iQOO Z11.

If early reports are to be believed, battery capacity could again be the defining feature of the Z11. The phone is said to pack a 9,000mAh battery, which would be quite large even by current standards. The 3C listing also showed support for a 90W charging adapter, suggesting that the device may support 90W wired fast charging.
Phones in the mid-range segment already tend to push battery capacities higher, but a 9,000mAh cell would still be notable, especially for people who rely on their phones heavily throughout the day. The iQOO Z11, in that case, could be competing with the Realme P4 Power, which recently launched with a 10,001mAh battery in the same segment. In fact, Realme is launching another phone with a battery of that size — the Realme Narzo Power.
Other specifications of the iQOO Z11 are not clear for now. Reports suggest the Z11 could feature a 1.5K LTPS display and run on a mid-range chipset, though the exact processor has not been confirmed yet. The lineup will also include the iQOO Z11x, which is expected to sit below the standard model. Early leaks suggest the Z11x could come with a 6.76-inch Full-HD+ LCD display and run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, making it the more affordable option.
For context, the iQOO Z10 arrived in April 2025 with a starting price of Rs 21,999, while the iQOO Z10x debuted at Rs 13,499. The Z10 itself focussed on battery life, offering a 7,300mAh battery alongside the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. If the Z11 arrives with the rumoured battery capacity, it could strengthen iQOO’s position among buyers who prioritise long battery life for gaming, streaming or travel.
iQOO has not yet confirmed the Z11 or Z11x publicly. However, the device’s appearance on the IMEI database and now an international certification platform suggests the next Z-series launch may not be far away.
