iQOO Z5 5G launch date in India has been revealed. It will come as a successor to the iQOO Z3 that was released in India a few months ago. The company appears to have skipped the 4th generation in the Z-lineup as the number 4 is considered unlucky in China. The iQOO Z5 5G will launch in India on September 27th at 12 PM IST and the company has posted a teaser image, that reveals the rear design of the iQOO Z5. It has a triple camera setup, with an LED flash housed in a rectangular module and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone can be seen in a Blue colour option but there could be other options at launch.
The official iQOO Z5 5G launch date invite not only reveals the date and time of the phone’s launch but also teases the design. We see the phone with a rectangular rear camera module housing triple cameras. There is also a side fingerprint sensor, which suggests the phone will come with an LCD display though rumours say it will feature an AMOLED panel.
iQOO Z5 specifications (expected)
iQOO Z5 is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset but there are possibilities the iQOO Z5 Pro model could feature the chipset and the standard model might have a different chipset. The phone is tipped to feature LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The iQOO Z5 is said to feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is an upgrade over the iQOO Z3 that has an IPS LCD panel. The phone will have 55W fast-charging support.
