iQOO has already started teasing the arrival of its new Z-series smartphone, dubbed the iQOO Z7 5G. In all likelihood, the device will launch in India on March 21st, 2023. The launch date of the device was accidentally leaked, as a brand ad kept popping up on Google search for a brief period. In any case, the device is more than likely to launch later this month, and iQOO has now revealed the front look of the iQOO Z7 5G via its official social media handles. Let’s take a look.
iQOO Z7 5G front design showcased
As seen in the official poster above, this is what the iQOO Z7 5G will look like from the front. The device has a waterdrop notch at the top, which will house its selfie snapper. Furthermore, we can see the power button and the volume up and down buttons on the right side of the device’s chassis. The other sides of the device, however, have not been showcased by the brand yet, so we might have to wait for a little longer to know more about the device’s remaining design language.
iQOO Z7 5G specifications (expected)
The iQOO Z7 5G is said to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. So far, there’s no word whether the device will retain the IPS LCD panel of its predecessor or will it feature an AMOLED panel instead. Under the hood, the iQOO Z7 5G is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, which will likely be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
In terms of software, we can expect the device to boot the latest Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13 skin out of the box. Coming to the battery of the device, the iQOO Z7 5G is tipped to feature a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Lastly, the device might come with a 50MP main camera with support for OIS.
