“The A62 marks the entry of itel in the dual rear camera space”
itel, a Transsion Holdings sub-brand, has announced its latest budget smartphone, dubbed itel A62, in India. As per the company, the A62 is its first dual-rear camera phone. Key highlights of the handset include a full-view display, face unlock, multi-functional fingerprint sensor, bike mode and OTG support.
Coming to the specifications, the itel A62 sports a 5.65-inch HD+ (1440X720p) display on the front. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6739WA processor mated with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. You can further boost the storage up to 128GB via dedicated microSD card slot.
As mentioned, the itel A62 has a dual-rear camera setup with the primary sensor being a 13-megapixel shooter with auto-focus and LED flash, and the secondary sensor, a VGA snapper. It comes with various modes like face beauty, portrait mode, pano mode, and lowlight mode. The front camera on the phone is a 5-megapixel shooter with flash for selfies and video calls.
The itel A62 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, and a 3000mAh battery backs the smartphone. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual SIM and micro USB port.

As for the pricing, the itel A62 retails in the country at Rs 7,499, and it will be available in black, champagne and red colour options. The company is offering a 100-days replacement warranty with the phone.
