JBL announces PartyBox Bluetooth speakers in India; price, specifications

Popular audio accessories brand, JBL has announced its PartyBox speakers in India. The high-end speakers come in two models –  the JBL PartyBox 200 and the JBL PartyBox 300 – both offering wireless audio support and ring-shaped lightning “to create an unforgettable party experience”. The speakers also support RCA and TWS (True Wireless Stereo) that allows you to connect any wired/ Bluetooth speakers and use it in a stereo configuration for louder music in large gatherings.

“The new JBL PartyBox speakers are packed with proprietary’s signature sound that creates an uplifting listening experience, whether it’s a small gathering at home or pop-up gig in a park. And what’s a party without mood lighting? Choose one of three lighting options and create an added ambiance to any setting,” said the company in a press statement.

JBL PartyBox 200 and PartyBox 300 price, availability

The JBL PartyBox 200 has been priced in India at Rs 32,499, while the JBL PartyBox 300 will set you back to Rs 35,999. The speakers are available for sale across the country starting today. Potential buyers can purchase them from JBL’s website, other online and official stores.

As for the specifications, both JBL PartyBox 200 and PartyBox 300 sport three 2.25-inch tweeters and two 6.5-inch woofers for crisp and loud listening experience. The dimension of both speakers are identical, and they have handles that make them easy to carry around. 

The JBL PartyBox speakers offer both USB Playback support and Wireless Bluetooth Streaming for “high-quality” sound from a smartphone or tablet. The devices also sport a built-in 6.5mm jack so users can plug instruments and microphones directly, and a 3.5mm Aux-in. While the PartyBox 300 houses a 10,000mAh Li-ion battery, the PartyBox 200 requires you to hook the speaker to a wall socket. JBL claims that with a single charge, the PartyBox 300 battery will offer playtime of up to 18hrs.
