JBL TUNE 125 TWS earphones get Bluetooth certification, may launch soon

Audio company JBL launched TUNE 120 TWS earbuds in India and global markets a while back. Now, it would appear that a possible successor to the earbuds is in the works. A listing on the Bluetooth certification website has been spotted by 91Mobiles pertaining to a product with model number TUNE125TWS. This could quite likely mean that JBL TUNE 125 earbuds could soon be unveiled. The listing says that the TUNE 125s will have Bluetooth 5.0 capabilities, a feature that has become very standard on devices these days.

It is possible that the earbuds are launched later this year and be priced around the same as the TUNE 120 ie. about Rs 6,500. That is currently all the information we have but more should be revealed in the coming weeks, so stay tuned (pun intended). 

JBL TUNE 120 specifications

The JBL TUNE 120 are currently being sold at a price of Rs Rs 6,500 in India. As far as specifications and features are considered, the TWS earbuds have 5.8mm drivers with a dynamic frequency of 20Hz – 20KHz and an impedance of 14ohms. JBL says that the earbuds get about four hours of battery life per full charge, with 16 extra hours in the charging case.

JBL claims that 1 hour of music playback can be provided in just 10 minutes of charging. There is no IP rating for sweat or dust resistance. The case weighs 73grams while the weight of each individual earbud has not been mentioned. The JBL TUNE 120 supports hands-free call, Google Assistant, and JBL Pure Bass sound. The case is charged via a Type-C cable.
