The new Jio All-in-One plans are 40 percent costlier than previous recharge packs, but offer 300 percent more benefits, according to Jio. Jio claims that its customers will save 15-25 percent based on 2 of industry’s highest selling plans – Rs 129 and Rs 199 packs – compared to similar new plans from Airtel and Vodafone Idea. Based on the table above you can see that Jio’s monthly All-in-One plans are roughly Rs 50 cheaper compared to plans from Airtel and Vodafone-Idea. The Rs 199 Jio plan, for example, offers 1.5GB data per day along with free voice calls, while Airtel and Vodafone offer the same benefits with their Rs 248 and Rs 249 plans, respectively.

Notably, Jio is currently the only operator among the three to offer 2-month or 56 days prepaid recharge plans. The Rs 399 and Rs 499 Jio plans offer 1.5GB/day and 2GB/day data and 2,000 minutes free voice calling benefits for 56 days. It will be interesting to see whether Airtel and Vodafone-Idea also announce 2-month plans to compete with Jio’s new recharge packs.

Jio’s 84 days or 3-month recharge plans are up to Rs 100 cheaper compared to similar plans from Airtel and Vodafone. The Rs 599 Jio plan, for example, offers 2GB data per day and 3,000 minutes voice calling for 84 days. Airtel and Vodafone-Idea offer the same benefits at Rs 698 and Rs 699, respectively.

When it comes to annual prepaid recharge plans, the prices are closer to each other, but Jio still comes in cheaper. Jio’s Rs 2,199 plan offers 1.5GB data per day and 12,000 minutes voice calling benefits for 365 days, while the same benefits from Airtel and Vodafone-Idea cost Rs 2,398 and Rs 2,399, respectively.

Along with these data and voice calling benefits, Jio prepaid customers will also get JioPrime benefits such as access to 600+ TV channels, JioCinema suit that has over 10,000+ movies, access to content partners like Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Lucas, Voot, ErosNow, Alt Balaji, Paramount, SunNxt and more, access to JioSaavn, JioNews, JioSecurity and JioCloud.

Airtel prepaid customers meanwhile can get access to Airtel Xstream Premium, Wynk Music Subscription, Free Hello Tunes, Anti-Virus Mobile Protection with prepaid plans starting from Rs 248.
