While Jio is yet to issue a statement officially, the company’s Twitter handle is responding to users about the connectivity issues. The tweet read, “We understand your situation. We are currently experiencing connectivity issues in your location. Our team is working on the same and services will be restored as soon as possible. Appreciate your patience.” The hastag #JioDown is trending and some users are apparently seen mocking Jio’s tweet about the Facebook outage on Monday where it said, “it’s not the Internet”. We will update the story as and when Jio issues a statement regarding the downtime.
Separately, Jio is offering a 20 percent JioMart cashback on Rs 249, Rs 555, and Rs 599 prepaid plans recharge plans. The cashback will be credited to user’s account and can be used on any of Reliance stores such as Reliance Trends, JioMart, Ajio, Reliance Digital, Reliance Fresh, Jio store, among others. All users have to do is just recharge from any of the above mention plans through any of the payment methods and avail of a 20 percent cashback and can be redeemed on any of Reliance platform.
