Reliance Jio network is currently facing a service outage in the Mumbai circle. Several users took to Twitter to complain about the unavailability of Jio service in suburban Mumbai and Thane, including Kalyan and Dombivli. Jio hasn’t released a public statement, but it was caught responding to complaint tweets that they are aware of the situation and are working to resolve the issue at the earliest. Users have reported that they are getting “Not registered on network” messages whenever they are trying to make calls. Even if a user with a Jio sim purchased from Mumbai and moved to another state is facing the same issue.

What can you do until the Jio services are fixed?
While the company fixes the issue, you can use an alternative telecom network to communicate, or you can also use a WiFi connection to make a WhatsApp internet call. Jio could offer free data package to the affected users, similar to what they did with the previous outage.
