“Jio Phone recharges now start at Rs 75, which offers 500MB daily high-speed data, 500 non-Jio minutes, unlimited Jio-to-Jio and landline calls, 500 SMSes”
Jio has scrapped its entry-level Rs 49 Jio Phone recharge from its portfolio. The company has removed the recharge, which used to offer 1GB total high-speed data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio and landline calls, and 50 text messages for 28 days, from both its website Jio.com and MyJio app. Jio Phone users will now have to shell out Rs 75 (minimum) to continue using the service. The changes have come just a week after Jio revised its prepaid packs for all users in the country.
Rs 75 Jio Phone recharge pack benefits
As mentioned above, Jio Phone recharges now start at Rs 75. This is an All-in-One pack that offers 500 non-Jio minutes, 500MB daily data, unlimited Jio-to-Jio and landline calls, and 50 SMSes for 28 days. The other recharges available in All-in-One category are priced at Rs 125, Rs 155, and Rs 185.
Other Jio Phone recharges
The Rs 125 Jio Phone recharge provides unlimited voice calling (500 minutes for calls made to other networks), 300 SMS messages, and a quota of 500MB data per day. The Rs 155, on the other hand, bundles 1GB daily data benefit, unlimited Jio-to-Jio (500 minutes for off-net calls), and 100 SMS messages per day. The Rs 185 JioPhone All-in-One pack ships with 2GB of high-speed data per day, 500 minutes of non-Jio voice calling, unlimited Jio-to-Jio and landline calls, and 100 SMS messages per day. All the JioPhone All-in-One plans come with a validity of 28 days.
Apart from this, Jio also has a lineup of regular recharges for its feature phone users. The recharges start from Rs 99 for 28 days validity and goes up to Rs 594 with benefits that last up to 84 days. The only drawback of these recharges is that you don’t get IUC minutes.
