Jio Phone users get 300 minutes of free outgoing voice calls during COVID-19

The first initiative is that Reliance Jio will offer 300 minutes of free outgoing voice calls to Jio Phone customers every month (or 10 minutes of free outgoing calls every day). It means that even if you don’t recharge your Jio Phone, you will be able to make 300 minutes of outgoing voice calls in a month. This is great news for underprivileged people who are struggling to recharge their phones during the COVID-19 pandemic. Jio, however, has not announced for how long will the offer be valid.

Jio Phone users get a double recharge benefit during COVID-19

The second initiative is the “Buy-One-Get-One” offer from Reliance Jio. With this offer, Reliance Jio will provide an additional recharge plan of the same value as the plan recharged by the customer. For example, if a Jio Phone user recharges their number with a Rs 75 plan, Reliance Jio will offer an additional Rs 75 plan to the user without any extra steps. This offer provides great value for money to the Jio Phone users.

Reliance Jio reportedly giving offers to retain active users

According to various reports, Reliance Jio is offering these benefits to retain its active users and to revive its inactive users. Reportedly, there has been a massive downfall in the active users of Reliance Jio. According to reports, 21.8% of Jio’s total users are inactive, which is significantly more compared to 2.5% and 9.4% inactive users of Airtel and Vodafone Idea.
