What is the new Jio Phone Next launch date?
The Jio Phone Next will launch on the day of Diwali i.e. November 4th, according to a report by Live Mint. With Jio Phone Next, Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Group aims to cater to the budget and low-income group, bringing some interesting features to a low-budget smartphone. Reliance partnered with Google for the Jio Phone Next, promising users to give an enriching Android experience on Jio Phone Next. The Jio Phone Next will be bringing new features such as Translate Now, Read Aloud and Night Mode. Further, the smartphone would be running an optimised version of Android with support for Google Play Store.
Jio Phone Next specifications and price in India
The Jio Phone Next might feature a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720×1,440 pixels. Under the hood, it would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 chipset paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. It would boast a 2,500mAh battery. The smartphone would run Android 11 (Go Edition) optimised by Google for Jio Phone Next with additional special features. It is expected to feature a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP camera on the front for selfies.
As for the pricing, the Jio Phone Next would be a low-cost entry-level smartphone. It is expected to cost somewhere between Rs 2,500 – Rs 3,500 in India. There is no word on the sale date of Jio Phone Next.
