New Jio Rs 749 recharge plan details
Jio’s Rs 749 plan includes 100 SMS a day, unlimited phone calls, 2GB of internet per day, and Jio’s suite of apps. The plan has a 90-day total service validity. All of this was previously included in the Rs 750 plan as well. However, the Rs 750 plan offered an additional 100MB of data at Re 1.
With the new Rs 749 recharge, Jio has removed the Re 1 plan that offered 100MB of additional data. As many telcos are now raising plans to offset part of Jio’s 5G investments, it would assist the company increases average revenue per user (ARPU) in an extremely clever way. This plan provides the customer with a total of 180GB of data for a daily fee of just Rs 8.32 for 90 days.
Due to the fact that most users wouldn’t mind spending an extra Rs 30 for an extra 6 days of validity, this plan would also help Jio persuade customers who would have otherwise chosen the Rs 719 plan that offers similar data benefits but for 84 days. Customers can enjoy plans like the Rs 749 recharge pack with a 90-day validity period. These plans may serve as a launchpad for carriers’ efforts to promote 5G when it goes live later in the year.
